My friend is having a birthday
And I am giving away points Yes lots and Lots of Points (well at least by my standards) to help them.
So here's the deal. My Friend Joey Plays in a band, a small little duo named ALTERNATIVE SYMPHONY that doesn't have all that much of a following and this year (since we can't do a party for him) we wanted to do something special the kind of gift you don't get every year and one that will hopefully help his dream.
5 if you: Comment on one of their videos. That's 5 PER VIDEO (YES THAT MEANS YOU CAN COMMENT ON EVERY VIDEO. and it adds up. NICE things only please, actual comments and compliments. A smiley face or other emoji on its own does not count. Also PLEASE DO NOT JUST WRITE THE SAME THING ON EVERY VIDEO. This is a birthday present and so I don't want the comments to just feel like spam. You can write similar things but please not word for word the same.
15 if you: Subscribe to their channel
Anyone who comments on all the videos (again nicely) and subscribes will get a bonus of:
5 just for doing it all and going the extra mile.
That's 50 total for helping my friend have a better birthday.
In order to get the points you will have to message me with your Youtube handle (your channel name) so I can confirm you actually did comment and subscribe.
This is open for all of his birthday month: July. (2020)
I don't care if I have 10 people do this or 100, it will stay open as long as I can afford to do it and I'll update when I need to close this down in case it is too popular (which I doubt will happen but who knows). I'm okay with people using multiple accounts on Youtube to gain extra points. So if you want to get a friend (or several) involved so that you can get more points go ahead. As long as its a different youtube account and everyone is nice I am cool with it.
Points only-no cash reward. This will end at my digression. No purchase necessary, I'm just trying to do something nice so please be nice in return. If you don't want to do it you don't have to there is no pressure so please no negative feedback on this as I am only trying to spread smiles where and how I can. Points will be given out before the end of august 2020 (after I have had a chance to confirm)
Here is their YOUTUBE for anyone who is interested.

Thanks so much and have a lovely day
Well, I've been on DA for 6 years I believe? I had an old account back in high school which I used mainly for photo manips and then I made this one and have been here (and plan on staying with this one) for over 4 years
My Username is my writing pseudonym, under which I hope to someday be published. I chose it back almost a decade ago because most of my favourite authors had pseudonyms. That name feels just as much like my real name as my birth name now, I have been using it for so long.
Honest. Stubborn. Nice. (Am I allowed to think of myself as nice?)
I'm a Lefty!
I think I am probably better at realism, but my favourite to create is comic book. I am loving working with copics so far too. (just got into them in the last 6 months or so)
Digital, there is so much awesome digital art out there and its not where my talent lies, but I think its soo cool.
That's probably a tie between comic book style art stuff like:
<da:thumb id="406096462"/>and fan stuff like:
<da:thumb id="173645598"/> There are so many fantastic artists on DA but this artists work makes me wanna cry every time I see thier work it is so darn beautiful. Also, so nice. Close runners up for consistently awe-inspiring work are
whose commission was the best I have recieved (And I have had some awesome ones done by great artists) she captured the essence of my characters better than I ever have Her gallery is filled with such wonderful colour. And
whose artwork and one page comics never fail to make me smile and or laugh.
He's got a great sense of humor. I love his comics and have always enjoyed chatting with him online. I think we would get along swimmingly face-to-face. Also a total inspiration to keep working on art.
Did a drawing of my OC without me asking, just out of the blue as a gift. He had no idea (In fact he may be finding out now) but I was going through a really rough time and that gift was like a beautiful beacon of light for me and really helped me out.
Pencils, watercolour and now COPICS (sketch)
Believe it or not on my couch in the basement while curled up underneath a blanket either talking with my room mate or ignoring a movie (that's right movies as background noise are something I love)
Hmmmmm....that's a hard one. I honestly don't think I have one. There are lots of good memories I don't think I have a fave...okay yes I do. I won a contest once with this drawing
of "Quibble" my little OC alien for a children's book I will someday write. I never would have guessed that I would win, and while I never got the commission prize it still felt awesome to actually win something.
Well, that's all she wrote folks. Thanks to everyone who has helped make my DA experience a good one. Love you all. Comments welcome.
